Pasch McCombs, NAD V, CI and CT, NIC Master, SC: L has over 28 years of professional interpreting experience which includes community, conference interpreting, VRS interpreting and legal/court interpreting as a specialty. He has provided various professional development trainings and resources to sign language interpreters on both general interpreting and legal interpreting topics. He has co-developed and co-presented on the advanced legal topics of 'Interpreting for Deaf Children in Juvenile Settings', and 'Interpreting Witness Testimony - Using Consecutive Interpreting'. He served on the very first Iron Sharpens Iron planning committee and also served as one of the interpreters at the ISI conference in 2000. He currently serves as the Chair of the newly formed RID Legal Interpreters Member Section and is heading up the planning committee for the 2009 LIMS Legal Conference in Philadelphia this summer.
